Offering a deep set of younger and older sows that are bred to farrow in July & August. These are daughters, mothers, and grandmothers that have made a POSITIVE IMPACT on our genetic program and produced winning show pigs.
Please note, these are not left over gilts we fed out with total intentions of breeding late and selling. These were selected at multiple stages as KEEPER & REPLACEMENT females for our herd. Why are we selling this many elite sows we already have in production? We have been on a continuous incline in our sow numbers for the last 10 years. It’s simply time for us to scale back our numbers some. We are looking at offering 75-100 sows over the next 12 months. This will allow us to manage our sows and facilities better. Along with that, Dad and I both have way more on our schedules regarding my four children, his seven total grandchildren, and all the sports and events they are involved in. This obviously is nothing other than an adjustment in how we prioritize and value our time. It is something we realize all family managed businesses go thru at some point. We are proud and excited that we can be with our families and rarely miss anything they are involved in, while still getting to do what we love to do regarding what the show pig industry affords us. Yet, the most important reason to you should be that THIS IS A VERY UNIQUE CHANCE FOR YOU TO PURCHASE SOWS STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART OF OUR PROGRAM!! We will be offering sows that have generated high income, winners, along with the mothers of some influential boars. Buyers should also be aware that this will not be an annual event. We plan for this to be a very limited and unique process. We have not offered bred females for some time now. We do have intentions of offering another fairly large group this Winter.
